Alum-A-Lift is a manufacturer of custom, ergonomic lifting devices (battery powered and motor driven) for loads up to 2000 pounds and 10 feet high. Alum-A-Lift also specializes in portable & transportable lifts. All lifts are configured to a customer’s application to solve ergonomic lifting problems and assist in preventing back injury. Alum-A-Lift replaces those heavy, outdated lifts with light-weight, maneuverable aluminum ones that are compliant to NIOSH & OSHA requirements. Alum-A-Lift has been tested & certified for use in class 100 clean rooms.  A wide range of custom end effectors is also available.

Unlike single mast designs, Alum-A-Lift constructions can withstand considerable off-center loads. Stabilizers allow such loads and precision alignment. When heavy loads are specified, affected construction elements are subjected to stress, strain and deflection analyses (F.E.A.). Footprints are calculated to assure compliance with stability criteria

Most models come with built-in, variable limit switches to define upper and lower elevations. If the load is sensitive or expensive, redundant systems are used. In contrast to some lift makes, 12 volts are applied to motors rated at 12 volts and 24 volts to 24 volt motors. Batteries are readily accessed and are easily replaced when required. Warranties are not void when the battery compartment is opened. Spare parts are always in stock, reasonably priced and shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order. Major credit cards are accepted.

End effecters are designed by our permanent engineering staff; constructed and tested in-house from a single source that is responsible for the entire product. There is no need for third party out-sourcing, divided responsibility and the resulting complications. End effecters may be specified for manual or powered operation. Ergonomic and anthropomorphic tables are employed to help make such determinations.

Our clients are welcome to observe and to participate in product testing. In special situations third party professionals are engaged as required. Local support is available throughout the industrial world by factory trained representatives.
